Our customer service department is in charge
of all billing and shipping paperwork from invoicing to credit card charging to creating shipping labels. They also try their hardest to
help our customers and meet their needs. |

Pre-Press Department |

Once you've prepared all the files for printing, you can send them through our Order Online system. Once you have submitted your order, the job of the City Colors Pre-Press Department is to open the files submitted for the job and verify that everything is ok for printing (called preflight). If there are any problems with the document, you will contacted via email or telephone call. If everything is correct, the order is immediately transmitted digitally via our Ethernet interface directly to one of the Heidelberg DI's printer queues (RIPs) for printing. At this time your order is prioritized according to your selected turnaround time. |

Press Area |

At the presses, your job is placed to be printed with other jobs that share your turnaround time. Since there is no need to create conventional plates or negatives, the job usually starts to print within a few minutes after the press receives it. The four plates, which are inside of the press, are automatically created through a process where a laser burns the image directly onto
each plate. This saves an incredible amount of time while maintaining a remarkably high level
of quality (300 lpi and 2540 dpi) especially with the addition of the two
PressTek 52DI. |

Post Press Area |

In the post press area, all the UV coating, folding slitting, cutting, and shipping takes place. Once a
job leaves the presses, its usually within hours
and sometimes minutes that all of the above
activities go into action. |
