Due to the volume that we print at City Colors, we are able to offer you an unmatched price for business cards along with the fastest turnaround time in the industry! You can now purchase 1000 4/0 (full color one side, blank on the other) printed on 14 pt. C1S paper, UV Coated, ready in 24 hours for only $12 for business cards in TIFF format. If you have a different file format, for $10 more (for a total of $22) you can use another format to create and submit your business card (Illustrator, Freehand, Indesign, or Corel Draw). Quark files are no longer accepted as the process of setting it up to print is too time consuming and not cost efficient. View our "How To Prepare Checklist" for complete details.

To obtain this $12 price, please do the following:

Files must be submitted as flattened (no layers) Adobe Photoshop 300 dpi TIFF.
All colors must be converted to CMYK colors.
You must add 1/8" all around the outside of the 2" x 3.5" card if the card bleeds.
Text and logo information should be at least 1/8" inside the 2" x 3.5" card to prevent important information froom getting too close to the cut. Also ALWAYS provide crop marks!!!
If the card has a border, you should make it no less than 1/8" thick.
PageMaker and PDF files will not be accepted for any job at all!!! And No Quark for B Cards.
Order must be received by 1:00 PM ET and have no issues to obtain 24 hour service.

We will automatically add a $10 set-up charge to the order (without calling you) if the files submitted are not tiff files. Please make sure that you prepare your cards exactly as stated here to avoid any delays to your order.

When designing your business card, it is very important to pay attention to the dimensions of the document that you will be creating to ensure that all of the important elements of your file are printed.

In the drawing on the left, you can see that the final size of the business card is 3.5" x 2". You can also see (as shown by the red arrows) that the area in which you should place all important text and logos is actually 3.25" x 1.75". This is referred to as the "Live Area" and ensures that nothing is cut off.

If your business card will have a bleed, then you must increase your document size by 1/8" all around (shown by the blue arrows and in gray) to allow your designs to extend to the edge of the card. No important information should be placed here as this bleeded area will be cut off. This bleed area is to allow for your design to extend to the edge of the card.

	If you have another file format, we also accept orders for business cards for 24 hours in formats other than TIFF (Indesign, Illustrator, etc.). However, because of the extra time required to prepare these files for the presses, the price increases to $22.
